A Paper Poinsettia Flower Arrangement
As an advent gift to the readers of my blog, I will be posting Christmas decorations every day for the next 25 days. I hope these Christmas decorations will brighten your day and bring joy to your home.
Today's decoration is a paper Poinsettia flower arrangement in a slice form vase.
Here is the PDF file. I used 65 lb cardstock.
Here is the .Studio file.
Here is the SVG.
Make the Slice Form Vase
Bend the tabs of the buds at a right angle. Glue two of the vase pieces together.
The slice will look like the above photo. Repeat to make six slices.
Slide the bud slices onto the circle slices. There are five circles with three being small ones. The order of the circles, starting from the top, is small, large, large, small and small
Completed vase
Make the Flowers
The petals on the poinsettia are creased upward and then glued on top of one another. The evergreen branch is creased and the berries are threaded through the center hole and glued on the back of the piece...not shown. Both the poinsettia and the evergreen branches are glued to each bud.
The flower arrangement is about six inches high.
