A Sleigh Treat Container
As an advent gift to the readers of my blog, I will be posting Christmas decorations every day for the next 25 days. I hope these Christmas decorations will brighten your day and bring joy to your home.
Today's decoration is a sleigh treat container. It is a beautiful way to gift a homemade treat such as candied pecans or cookies.
This design can hold 1/2 cup of candied pecans. Here is an easy recipe, https://www.twopeasandtheirpod.com/candied-pecans/#wprm-recipe-container-41120
I used cling wrap to wrap the pecans and then cut the points off of the cling wrap with scissors. I added a small ribbon and my sleigh treat container is ready for someone special.
Here is the PDF file. I use 65lb. cardstock

Here is the SVG.
Fold the tabs at a right angle.
Apply glue to the tabs and adhere to the sleigh. Start at the top of the sleigh and align the edges to the bottom of the sleigh.
Photo for reference.
Glue the red foil paper to the back of the swirly sleigh piece.
Apply glue to the side of the sleigh and adhere the foiled piece.
The sleigh is now ready to hold some holiday treats. Please note...there is a little bow in the paper outward on the sides. This is normal, as the inside tabs of the paper were bent, it caused this bow.
