A Pretty Tea Light Holder/Favor for a Shower Party

A Pretty Tea Light Holder/Favor for a Shower Party

This 3 1/4 inch tall tea light is a quick and easy party decoration to make for a wedding shower party.  You can place two of these designs on one sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock. I used 65lb. foil cardstock from Michaels and the details cut beautifully even with an old mat and blade. This design can also be used as a favor by eliminating the hole at the bottom of the design before cutting and adding a candy treat to the box.

I purchased the color changing tea light at Dollar Tree.
Here is the PDF.

Here is the .Studio file.

Here is the SVG.

Eliminate the hole at the bottom of the design if you want this box as a treat holder.

Apply glue to the three tabs on the bottom of the box.

Close the box around the two bottom tabs and apply glue to the side tab. Adhere the side of the box.

I applied a Glue Dot to the bottom of the tea light so that the tea light would not move around in the box.

Align the switch to the hole in the bottom of the box and adhere the glue dot. To turn the light on and off.  Place one finger in the bird design to hold the tea light and toggle the switch.

Cut an 11 inch length of ribbon, thread it through the slits in the top of the box and tie a bow.

Completed party tea light.
